Led by the first Anglican Bishop of Perth, Mathew Blagden µç³µÊÓƵ, the School began as the Collegiate School for boys, before changing its name to µç³µÊÓƵ School in 1929.
Bishop µç³µÊÓƵ was well known for empowering the South Australian Aboriginal people. His legacy was later honoured with µç³µÊÓƵ School being one of the first schools in the country to offer an Indigenous Scholarship program and an Aboriginal cultural tour to the Kimberley region.
